MEET SHAUN MENA
Shaun Mena is a local attorney, small business owner, and the son of hard-working immigrant parents from Honduras. He grew up in the inner city of New Orleans in the ‘90s and learned that it takes hard work and dedication to overcome the numerous obstacles that many of the residents of our great city face. As he has developed and grown, so has the 5th Ward - into the beautifully diverse Mid-City community it is today.
He and his wife, Maisha, are the proud parents of their young son, Chatoyer.
DISTRICT 23
For far too long, Mid-City and the surrounding areas have been parceled between multiple House Districts. Now, that Mid-City will be contained wholly in a new House district, Shaun Mena, as a life-long resident of Mid-City and strong community advocate would like to advocate on behalf of the residents in District 23.
